HERMAN GODAMMIT!!! GIVE US A WINNER! :spinner:

In the meantime, which of the suggested changes do we favor? Guy picks til he loses? Or at beginning of week top 7 are assigned and have to acknowledge or it goes to backup guy?

Actually that change I'm not so fond of, I liked having at least two plays, but there was way more resistance on that rule than I expected. I say we let people pick until they push or lose or want to step down, the issue is then who is next in line. Do we continue to try a rotation, or just open it up to positive units people. Which do you favor, Bread?

RS is so right! Without 2-3 choices there is no discussion? Team effort right! Remember Devo, Freedom Of Choice!

We were doing fine on multiple picks until Herman took a stand and said NO! And as a result, the board suffered.

I personally like the way of naming who the top 7 are at beginning of week, and follow down the line. But not adverse til the "pick til you lose" way either.

whtvr.

Agree on top 7, the more predetermined it is so people know when it's their pick the better imo.

If using a system like this someone is MIA (NOT including letting the board know with notice they won't be picking) they should be DQd for at least a period of time imo.

Play #2 is Western Carolina. Citadel is mediocre at home, sporting a .500 home record with their best home win being against #228 Samford.

Western Carolina is 7-6 on the road (which is more impressive than a .500 home record) including wins at Bradley and at Louisville.

The Citadel really does nothing well while Western Carolina has some good qualities about them in some statistical categories, like 3 point shooting and offensive efficiency.

Play #1: Wisconsin PK or +1
Play #2: Western Carolina PK

Is there a happy medium in picking the top 7 at the beginning of each month and letting them pick 'til they lose, in rotation? Then people that finished in the top 7 but didn't want to participate could opt out and a more willing participant could be invited to the Prophetic Seven. I admit a month is a long time to go without fresh blood, but this might give us a little more "quality control" in who we're getting as far as consistency. It would make for a fun final ten days of the month in the Best Bet thread too, as people jockeyed to contend.

RS...I think we stand a better chance at a good record at NOT riding winning streaks, as we all know they can be difficult to run past 2 games. By moving around to different guys, I think percentages of catching a guy with a stellar play ea night rises to some degree.

As long as the week is announced in advance and the guys involved know it's coming up, we won't have to deal with the last minute stuff as much.

but willing to go with majority on either way. like both ideas.

HERMAN GAVE US SOME PLAYS FOR TONIGHT!
