I agree, you have to make a pick every week with no exceptions. If you start letting people take even 1 week off during the contest, I'm willing to bet people start having health issues, or dead grandparents, perhaps a foreclosure, or a flood, or some bullshit that will prevent them from choosing a tough game. Its only $25, if you have something that prevents you from playing, you probably won't be to worried about your contest fee.

The rule wasn't that you get a free pass if you don't make a pick, the rule was that you would get a random pick assigned to you should you happen to miss one week; I think everyone is misinterpreting this.

I'm not sure. If someone's game began badly and they edited their pick to a later game, how would we know? Is someone going to be so much on top of things that that would get noticed?

If so - I'm assuming so - then I vote okay to editing.







If we decide on a no editing policy then I would say that person is shit out of luck. I take that as the spirit of a "no editing" rule. Don't fuck up or you are fucked.

I'm sure several people would be checking the picks thread as gametime wanders around. Plus, no pick can be editied after a couple minutes now (the PapaGeorge rule) so it really wouldn't work for potential cheaters.

I was reading it wrong then. That's why I was confused.

My official vote is still no pcik, no play. No random pick. You have a week, make a play.

4:05. If kick-off is at 4:05, then that means 4:05 and zero seconds. Everything with a time signature of 4:05 would be after that.

I have been in forum pools where guys play lameass games with the deadlines and it is fucking annoying. It turns into a lot of whiny shit.

Oh but it's just 1 minute. Come on guys, you let his pick go that was 1 minute late and 2 minutes is only one minute later than that so that's no worse. Come on guys, what's a minute?

Strict deadlines is the answer IMO. Get your picks in you lummoxes.

I guess I agree with Muddy, pick has to be in before gametime. pretty much thought that was a given.

makes no sense to me to have to make a pick on Thursday if you plan on playing a game on Sunday.
and if you forget Sunday , you still have Monday if you havent played the team yet.
