Flu shots absolutely, positively do NOT hurt like hell.

I didn't even realize they stuck me with the needle when I got my last flu shot.

flu shots don't hurt that much, but I've never had a problem with needles

but the do make your arm pretty sore to touch for a few days if I recall, I don't think I got one in the last few years

Ya, it's really not the needle that hurt. It's a pretty small needle. It's the soreness afterwards. I was exaggerating about how bad it hurt but it was sore for the next few days. Unless you're a cop, then it doesn't hurt at all.

choo, I forgot if you mentioned this before but are you Asian? Quite a few of my Asian friends go through the same thing... at first I thought they were just lightweights because they'd get giddy and a bit pink after half a drink but then they start to really display the same signs as you.

eta: haha, wait it's actually a thing: Asian Flush, Asian Turn Red Syndrome, Asian Red, Asian Glow, or Lash Rash

Strep gone.

Was healthy for 26 days before getting a hoarse throat/sneezing/congestion.

Life is beautiful.

I mean, I'm not doing NEARLY as bad as I was when I had strep but........

Whatever. I'm assuming it's because my 2 little ones are always sick from pre-school/K and I'm always hugging and kissing them and they're always coughing on me.
