I did not know that was a rule. I think it's dumb. I will consider fixing this although I don't really care if I have an empty spot because someone is on a bye. Don't really wanna drop anyone and risk someone else picking them up. I guess I have no choice though.

Actually Mish is wrong here. Sure theoretically it would make little sense but let's just say you wanted to keep every player on your team and so many were on bye that you had to start a bye week player? In that situation you can't be forced to make a move imo.

Agree with bacon here, playing someone on a bye week is not the same as leaving a slot empty. Should be NBD.

I mean this can be done right, FW? if Thursday the week play begins and you can have some player in action, then before kickoff Sunday 1 PM you set your other players! So why not be able to release a player on bye for say a Monday night game a hour before kickoff?

Whatever it is a Bye player in action is not a violation but just sloppy accounting of team! Just didn't want Me to be handicapped from this! Don't think you could every too many bye players for the same position and that means you did a bad job of drafting!

OK, so you did it by choice! Good, sorry I tried to assist but figured there's always a #15 man on your team that nobody would want anyone to pick up and then after game you could pick up the #15 man again if you so like!

I'm pretty sure it was just a kicker. not a big deal to me, they don't represent that much points. My main TE was out this game - bye week, and I had put in Gronk because it looked like they might play him finally, but they didn't. Bastids. That is what went on there. I'm not that concerned with having a back up kicker.
