When a woman puts time and energy into something you better bet that she is emotionally involved as well. It may not make sense, but to her she feels that you should have known that it was important.
She'll give you subtle clues and in her mind it is up to you to identify them. Become a student of subtlety and you'll have fewer problems.

Stevie how old are you?

If you're under 28 you better not be taking too much shit from anybody.

Hate seeing young guys (I'm 37) get snapped up in long term relationships in the prime of their youth when they could be out having exciting mini-relationships (3 weeks-6 months) and then moving on to the next exciting mini relationship.

I get the whole Student of Subtlety thing but not if you're a young guy. Too much fuckin work.

Good advice Daft. I have been having a decent run lately. :highfive:

That's not the point, jello. The point is...most women are extremely needy and simple gestures often mean a lot. He didn't have to go to the event but it would have meant a lot to her if she knew he was supportive. I realize that this nonsense doesn't make sense to some of you, but if you are looking to obtain or maintain a serious relationship, just STFU and go with it.

Remember...simple gestures. They don't cost a thing and you don't need to exert a whole lot of energy.

Because when we tell you its no big deal in our language, translated to manspeak means "It means a big f**king deal" and you should be supportive and encouraging. Then we will brag to all our friends, relatives and strangers about how wonderful and thoughtful you are and how we are lucky to have you.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Seriously. Why not just say what's on your mind? So you can talk about us to your friends? LOL. Good God.

I guess that's my problem. Fuck anyone who is needy. You shouldn't need my support to do something you wanna do. And yes, I'll probably die alone. But I'd rather die alone than waste my fuckin life arguing about showing up to some ridiculous fuckin 5k when the girl told me I could finally get some time for my fucking self.
