SC Freiburg vs Hertha BSC

SC Freiburg - Hertha BSC starts the fourth round of Bundesliga. This match will be the beginning of so called "English Week", when the german clubs will play three games in ten days. Freiburg will be without a leader of last season Admir Mehmedi. But this season he is not showing a decent game, but in the game against Borussia Mnchengladbach missed the penalty, which could bring victory to the team

Hertha have to do something with the defense, because the game around the own goal causes the greatest criticism. And Luhukay understands it. Liverpool vs Everton

Liverpool are currently 11th in the table with two wins against three defeats, while Everton aren’t far behind at 14th with a single win. Needless to say, both teams could use a win to jumpstart what has so far been disappointing start to their respective league campaigns.

With both teams sporting terrific offenses and unsure defenses, it’s hard to see this being the cagey, defensive, low-scoring affair that most derbies seem to devolve into.

Saturday, 27th of September 2014, Chelsea will measure forces with Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge for round six of the English Premier League on a match that the Blues need to win if they want to maintain their place at the top of the league table.

On last weekend’s match, the Blues apparently abandoned the attacking style they had been imposing since the beginning of the new season and returned to that pragmatic style Mourinho fomented last term. Whether people like it or not, the Portuguese manager’s approach almost granted him the three points and proved that there is still room in football for those teams that use counter-attacks as a weapon to achieve their intents.

Stoke City VS NewCastle

Stoke have been a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde side of late while Newcastle will be hoping to pick up their first win of the season.
The Potters were very impressive 3 weeks ago as they beat Man City 1-0 at the Etihad but have failed to win their two matches since then. A home defeat against Leicester was followed up with a draw away to QPR and they do look to be an inconsistent side.
Home wins have all of a sudden become an issue and they have lost both of their games at the Brittania so far this season and have yet to even score a home goal.

Newcastle will be hoping to capitalise on this on Monday but they currently sit bottom with just 3 points picked up from 5 matches. Their 2 goal Papiss Cisse inspired comeback last weekend seems to have saved Alan Pardew's job but results need to improve. They got through in the cup against Palace in midweek but it is a league win they need.

CSKA Moscow VS Bayern Munchen

So, this will be the third meeting between this two team. Bayern won in the past two meetings scoring 3 goals per game against 1 on both of maches for Moscow with Robben scoring in both meeting last season.

Previous matches for Moscow was not really smooth, loosing 7 of their last 8 Champions League matches including the last 5 in a row.
On the other hand, the German champions Bayern have won only 3 out of their last 8 Champions League maches (W3 D2 L3) with all of Bayern's Champions League goals in 2014 have come in the second half of the matches.

A statement from Leonid Slutsky shows how he is aware of how strong the opposing teams are.

Zenit has some very good players like Hulk, Witsel, Arshavin, Garay and so on and has been getting the wins for AVB. During the first round of games in this Group , Zenit caused a surprise by beating Benfica 2-0 away from home. It has always been very difficult to win in Russia and this time the lack of good players for Monaco will not make this any easier.

Anderlecht vs Borussia Dortmund

Don't be fooled by the poor results by Dortmund in the Bundesliga. They are a completely different team when they play in Europe or against big german side like Bayern Munich. After their convincing 2-0 win against Arsenal at home, Dortmund lost 2 of their next 3 Bundesliga matches against Mainz and most recently Schalke 04. Anderlecht on the other hand have won all their games following their 1-1 draw against Galatasaray 2 weeks ago. Anderlecht is good team, but it is not in the same bracket as Dortmund who has very good players, although they will be missing quite a few big names such as Jakub Blaszczykowski , Oliver Kirch, Nuri Sahin, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Marco Reus who are all sidelined with injuries.

Chelsea vs Arsenal

With Drogba out (ankle injury), Loic Remy is the only fit striker for Chelsea. Also, midfielder Ramires is out with a groin strain (ouch)...
Six games into the new season and Chelsea are looking every bit the championship favorites they were touted as before the season. The Blues have won five of those six games the lone exception a tough draw away to Manchester City - all by two or more goals.

Tottenham Hotspur were unable to hold on for a Derby win when they visited Arsenal last weekend.
