My respect isn't even the tiniest bit affected by who or how many someone sleeps with. Honestly. One of my favorite people in the world that isn't MrsX sleeps with lots and lots of people.

Now, the sad fact is that society affects us, especially women, in a way that most women who are sleeping with everyone in their friendship circle are doing so because they're extra fucked-up in the head. So, they usually do all of this fucking in a manipulative and deceitful way.

But, some people can see through the bullshit and just enjoy sex without hurting people, and if someone wants to do that with a hundred people, good for them.

No, I've never had sex with someone who had sex with four of my best friends. If I did, I would have just as much respect for her after as before. Why wouldn't I? Sex is great. Man, I wish everyone would have a lot more sex and stop freaking the fuck out about it all of the time.

Who's freaking out? So you think it's perfectly normal and acceptable for friends to pass around their fuck buddies? You don't think this girl becomes a running joke between friends and simply a way to get your nut off?

I REALLY don't think you've been in anything close to this situation before, MrX.

I am with MrX on this one. I like sex quite a bit and have no judgmental feelings towards anyone who feels the same (with all the proper caveats about safety and consenting adults etc etc)

After reading the article, it seems like she is the one in control and making the jokes. With the prudish/sexist double-standard that still lingers in the world (much to my puzzlement); I find it refreshing to see this girl turning the tables and having fun. She seems very liberated, cool and funny.
 
It was 13 guys and I don't get the impression that many of them knew each other reading it. Baseball players, tennis players, lacrosse players. And it seemed to be over 1+ years. Doesn't really seem like a lot.

I think the double standard idea is pretty laughable as well. It's called human nature. Women are the gatekeepers.

If I were to have a contest...

An average looking guy and an average looking girl at independent booths.

Both say "FREE SEX" above them.

How many more guys show up at the woman's booth than women at the man's booth?

People. Consistently. It seems to me that most people spend an huge amount of time "freaking out" about who's sleeping with or not sleeping with who. The comment wasn't directed at you individually.

Among most people in our society, she would become a running joke, yes, and I think that's completely fucked up. "Simply a way to get your nut off?" For me, no. I feel emotionally closer to people I sleep with, for some guys, sure. Again, though, I don't get why any of that makes her a lesser quality person.

As for this, I guess you're saying that something about my looks or personality make it hard for me to get laid? Jesus, I'm almost 40 years old. I went to college. I liked drugs. No matter how funny-looking or nerdy or whatever you think I am, it's not so hard for a person like me to have had plenty of whatever kind of sex I wanted.

I have a friend who sleeps with a lot, probably most, of her friends. So does her husband. I don't know if I'll be able to convince you of this, but their sexual habits don't lower my opinion of them one bit. They are amazing people. I'm glad that they get to have so much fun.
