Photoshops of real pictures of posters, with Dicks in their mouths, jizz, with funny quotes and such are SURELY more innocuous and less means spirited than posting photos of people that resemble other posters in a bizzaro way.

lets all just examine ourselves here a bit. we're all guilty of being dick heads sometimes. but we don't need more discussion on it then was had for creating of the US constitution do we?

I think what reno was trying to say is...the way Scholar and MF approach arguments is completely different so why try and lump them together into one category?

Of course we disagree with each other...but the way you go about saying things matters, it just does.

And that doesn't mean that MF calling me a Brock Landers cock sucking faggot isn't interesting when it turns into 19 pages of nonsense. It is. But just because a poster here doesn't want to e-battle and turn their life upside down to defend themselves...that doesn't make their posts less worthy either. I mean, it seems kind of ridiculous to label an entire board too "agreeable" if you're here debating it. If it's a problem, GTFO?

Seems logical.

Amby's impolite jabs about practically everything here culminated in my impolite comment about his retarded dog.

Monkeyf0cker, Amby's dog is pretty fucking retarded...similar to Mrs. X's goat being edible. I just need to post it maybe 16 more times to nail it home.

Anyway, my impolite comment was kinda/sorta similar to what you did to Daft. Actually, it's exactly what you did to Daft. You just couldn't take his posts that did not meet your intellectual standards so you went after him with internet tough guy fervor. Bravo, monkeyf0cker! You've come full circle with your accusations.

I'm here precisely because it's fundamentally a supportive community. I've seen enough mean-spirited behavior for my life, it doesn't interest me anymore. It doesn't bother me much that people find it boring here. Considering the pool that gamelive drew its members from, this place is a remarkably safe place to be yourself and not be made to feel like shit about it. I will acknowledge that that is my experience, and maybe some others have been ridiculed for being themselves. Even some of the people that I like a lot here are occasionally meaner than I'd prefer. I can't imagine how boring this place might be to MonkeyF0cker if I had my way.

The point was that there is a clique of people here who band together with very little substance. When have you ever seen a disagreement or debate on any substantive issue between Robyn, Bread, MrX, Mrs. X, Daft, etc.? Never. Do people actually formulate friendships because they liked a movie someone else recommended to them? And what friends don't have differing viewpoints on certain issues or are too afraid to voice opposition? It seems so junior high to me. That's just not how adult friends coexist.

LOL. I'm pretty sure it's you who is the hypocrite. You were the one who was on MY case for going after Daft. Now you're doing the exact same thing. Incredible how you can justify EVERYTHING when you do it, but it's not alright if someone else does. The problem is that YOU are the one that has to get in everyone else's affairs. You can't just keep your fat fucking mouth shut and let people fend for themselves like adults.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe there are posters who come here to unwind from their regular (sometimes stressful) life and they don't feel like getting into a pissing contest every single day on the internet? The internet is escapism for me. For you or others it may be entirely different and that's OK. But you have to be accepting of others reasons for being here.

And I don't (personally) need these posters to disagree to find their posts interesting or relevant. Let's remember one key point here, Bread (or whoever) recruited us here from SBR because they liked your posting style/music taste/whatever and thought you would be cool to continue posting with. How many adult friends do you have here MF? This is the internet. And from your approach, it doesn't seem like you are looking to make adult friends. Just an observation.
