China's Wuhan hikes virus death toll 50%, to almost 4,000

The number of people who were infected and died from the new coronavirus in China's central city of Wuhan, where the world's first infections were reported, has been revised upwards significantly. CBS News correspondent Ramy Inocencio says China now admits that about 50% more people died of the disease in Wuhan than previously reported.

The revision comes just a week and a half after the city celebrated the lifting of an unprecedented 76-day lockdown imposed to stop the disease's spread. The vast majority of China's infections and deaths were recorded in Wuhan. In real numbers, an additional 1,290 deaths were recorded with Friday's admission, bringing the total for Wuhan to 3,869. The number of infections was revised up by 325 to 50,333.

And I always was under the belief the Chinese were really good at math! :)

We just can't trust them, EVER! Once again, I DISLIKED Trump a long ago, TRUMP all over AC on the casinos! What a fuking smart but egotistic maniac! Though I always wanted somebody that was a shrewd business mind to see where it would lead the US! Finally realized too many politicians on both sides who are scum! Even Bush totally destroyed Iraq and then let his bro Cheney (Bush?) profit off rebuilding the country!

Tried to run in to 7-eleven for an energy drink yesterday and was denied entry because I didn't have a mask. Apparently can't enter a place in Cali without one now.

Thanks, just tried Longboard and did taste like any other beer out there! MrsM liked it better than Hanalei!

Is BigWave their golden ale beer? Kinda of like Guinness Blonde in taste?
 
I'm not sure why it's anybody's business what China does per se. I'm concerned what the plan of this anti China push is. Like how they intend to "make China pay" or whatever? Big geopolitical game being played here. I feel like the right winged scum is pushing for a war, while the pseudo left, in preparation, is preparing the people for indefinite home burial. Honestly, somehow Trump seems to be resisting both. Not too successfully probably ultimately, but yeah :hmm:
