I started this thread as an outlet to unleash any and all aggression with what was currently pissing me off but it has slowly evolved into something that brings me tranquility. Playing better golf just might be nature cure-all. Well playing better golf and the knowledge that one day Teela will be mine, all mine!

There are some courses we play that I would never wear anything white at. Plus, I have only worn that hat 3 times while playing, if I wore it all the time it would get dirty. Also, as soon as something does get a smudge on it or a salt ring, it's thrown out.

Golf Ball Alert!!!!!!!!!!!

Forever I have only played Titleist Pro-V and Pro-V-X. Oh I have tried other golf balls along the way but always went back to tried and true Titleist. I recently tried their new Velocity ball and actually liked it a lot. It was longer which we all need but unlike most balls that are longer it was soft around the greens which as anyone knows is majorly important if you are a "feel" player. So I was already to make the switch perminently when a buddy who is a 3-handicap told me about this ball he started using. Now while this guy is good (very good) he tends to play anything he gets for free so I was pretty skeptical especially since the ball he was now telling me about was a Wilson Staff Dou ball. Turns out this ball is like playing an old balata ball and if any of you ever played one you know that for working the ball they were amazing. This thing is so soft you don't even hear that "click" at contact. What's more and what's amazing is unlike the old balata balls this thing is LOOOOOOOONG. A great soft yet long ball and it gets even better when you get to the checkout counter and discover this ball is only $20 per dozen. My pro-V's are $45 per dozen and I only use a ball for 1 round so you end up going through a lot of golf balls. Cheaper, softer, longer, better, Wilson Staff Dou is the answer.

Arch, that is Kyle Morris, former starting quarterback for the University of Florida Gators back in the day. He is huge though, a HUGE fish on the golf course and a medium size whale in the casino.

Wally, does Kyle just do foots or is he a bases man also? We need him here! He's GL material for sure!

Uf Players Accused Of Betting Won`t Be Prosecuted

Quarterback Kyle Morris and three other Florida players accused of illegal gambling will not be prosecuted by the state attorney`s office. State Attorney Len Register said Wednesday that he has decided to defer prosecution as long as the players perform community service ranging from 30 to 50 hours and cooperate with the investigation into a bookmaking operation based in Athens, Ga.

Morris, quarterback Shane Matthews and walk-ons George Mangus and Brady Ackerman were suspended from the team Oct. 16 for betting on college football games. The players have been reinstated and their eligibility restored by the NCAA.

Morris reiterated Wednesday that he did not bet on UF games. ``I want to emphasize that I never wagered on a Florida game,`` Morris said. ``This whole matter has been a negative experience for me and the university. Hopefully other athletes will learn from the mistakes we made. If that happens, then some good will come out of this after all.``

Morris and Matthews admitted to UF officials and police investigators that they bet on college and pro football games. Morris said he placed one or two bets per week, ranging from $25 to $100.

But according to sworn testimony filed with the state attorney`s office Tuesday, Morris gambled $300 to $1,500 per week and on one occasion listed a game involving UF on a betting slip. The testimony was given by quarterback Lex Smith, who roomed with Morris and Matthews on the road. Morris later told Smith he never placed the bet on the Gators.

looking good wal

keep up the good work

Morris, Matthews and Ackerman will all be in Mississippi with us in July for the Florida vs Mississppi Ryder Cup. Morris is now a millionaire egg producer. Matthews is now the head football coach at Tebows former Jacksonville Nease and Ackerman is an Adidas represenative. Two of the guys listed above still dabble in sports wagering. They were going through a buddy of mine here in town who realized that neither were very good at it and decided to start holding their action. The buddy here had a VERY successful football season.
