Who gives a fuck where the mosque is located? That it's even a national debate means that the terrorists are having the last laugh. Not only is our Constitution, which institutes freedom of religion as one of its cornerstones, being tested but just the fact that people are being so sensitive about it, shows how much the terrorists are in our collective heads. Fuck them. Let the mosque be built to show that they can't do a fucking thing to us that alters our ideals, principles, or way of life.

not wanting it built in a specific location isn'tprohibiting anyone from their choice of worshp. There is a mosque four blocks away from this spot I believe. Most of the opponents I have seen are not against them building another mosque in any other location. For something that a few people have tried to call an outreach, it sure is a funny way of showing that concept.

If they are smart they should let them build the mosque where they want now and buy the building next to it and make it the biggest church in NYC. But they aren't that smart.

If I am not mistaken this particular building is one of the few in the area that does not have a historical designation. So that idea isn't feasible.
