2 minutes to plommer for delay of game

Just sayin' there is a food journal thread prequel from 2010. It also appeared to have a high participation rate. Just sayin'

Whilst watching the end of the Bama game, I had pork tenderloin, leftover chicken wings, tomato and onion, a bit of lettuce with dressing, and a double chocolate chip cookie.

It was very good and that's why Bama won.

I know, it's confusing, but his thread is not about food any more than Pulp Fiction is a movie about food. I know, food is mentioned. It's befuddling.

Here is what is flying over some heads - and I just might blow some minds but ---> this thread is not about cheese. The bananas thread is not about bananas.

They are about humor. We have had some very funny, interesting people at gamelive over the years that would make each other laugh and think. Still do as a matter of fact. But the point of the moment is: the specific foodstuffs are irrelevant. Disposable props. This is nothing like a thread about logging everything you eat. The point is not the food. It's the humor.

All I can suggest is look at the threads again. Either you'll see it or not. It's very hard to explain humor to people and lord knows not everyone has a fully developed sense of it.

I've had it before. It's what you buy when the store runs out of parmesan.

Romano is the Pepsi of grated cheeses.

You got it backwards you fukkin mangiacake.

Romano is the cadillac of pasta cheese, made with sheeps milk, not cows milk.

You need to go to fortinos and buy a hugh chunk and have them grate it for you right at the counter.
Romano needs to be moist and fresh.

That canned parmesan Kraft sells is pure cacca.

.
What do you mean his thread is not about food? That's exactly what it was about..hence the thread title "What have you eaten today?"

I understand what you are saying about your threads...or what you purport to be saying, ...all I am saying is that GL was journaling food long before me or any SPers were on the scene.

I am not a fan of grated cheeses.
