I've not heard of it but I think it's a pretty straight shot from SF north to Fargo about 5 hours. I lived in Fargo/Moorhead for 5 years. Nice people. Cold as shit.

Wow. That just floored me for some reason. Like I said I didn't believe it...I do now obviously but wow. Like I said, I'm geographically challenged.

There are parts of Canada that are south of parts of California.

Point Pelee, I believe is south of Cali's northern border. So I have heard.

I don't care a whole lot but some Canadians get very defensive about being exactly where we are in the world - so they lob that kind of trivia around. It doesn't make the roads any less slippery where I am right now but hopefully it makes them feel better.

Nunavut is the province farthest north (arctic circle). Google Nunavut grocery prices for serious sticker shock.

It used to be considered the NW Territories when we were in school. I think it became one in the last 15 years.
