So as I was saying, I did a sporcle - where it gives you a capital city and you have to fill in the country - and suddenly - ka-blammo - I was looking at Ngerulmud.

And as I was further saying, WTF?

I know all the world capitals and there is no Ngerulmud. Now granted, sometimes things get added. Ramallah, Palestine and Juba, South Sudan are the two newest additions - but anyway, no, the total number of 197 was the same.

Long story short, WTF?

So at the end I had to give up on Ngerulmud and it filled in the answer ---> Palau.

The capital of Palau has always been Melekeok. I have approached it from many different directions - sporcle, Jeopardy, other dopey quizzes and shit that I sometimes do ----> that's what it has been forever: Melekeok, Palau. Probably as recently as a month ago?

Now sometimes capitals change so I googled and look what I find from that:

Ngerulmud is the capital of Palau and is located in the State of Melekeok. The capital was established in 2006 replacing Koror, the countrys previous capital.

The fuck is this now? Koror? 2006? The state of Melekeok?

Ngerulmud?

I didn't get to try if it would take Ngerulmud as well - because once you put something in and it accepts it, you're in. You're committed.

The only way to try it would be to do the whole quiz again - which is a "Progressively Tougher" format.

And Palau comes up 197th out of 197.
