Colombia actually has lots to see and do that don't involve any of the above referenced crap. Based on your posts/pictures, you and Mr.x would have a wonderful vacation in this country.

I've been taking Spanish lessons on and off for years. I did two years in high school, a week immersion class in Baja and some skype classes from Bogota. It's definitely on my short list.

The immersion stuff is where you will learn the most. At least for me it was. I've been everywhere in latin america now, Colombia is the best. :)

I want to come to Colombia although the hookers, blow and gambling would be lost on me. I have no schedule, a valid passport and lots of money. In fact, we have so much money, I buy random cats and make them roll around in all our money.

what's a stamp?
google says 1 gram = 0.0352739619 ounces

i can (for you, not me) get one good gram delivered for 20,000 peosos ($10) (i've seen 1/3 of that, but probably dont want to go there). so thats what , $280? sounds like a lot, but i forget what blow cost in the usa
