XHamster: Adult Website Says It Is Blocking North Carolina Users Due to Anti-LGBT Legislation

We have spent the last 50 years fighting for equality for everyone and these laws are discriminatory which XHamster.com does not tolerate," a site spokesman told The Huffington Post on Monday.

yap

hit the politicians where it hurts!!!!

right in their porn addiction!

Big picture thinking. That's how I see it. Just adding to the long string of cancellations and boycotts and pull-outs.

The state wants to try that shit - it is not without a cost.

Being shunned by one of eleventy gajillion porn sites - prolly not a big deal in practice, especially compared to something like PayPal withdrawing 400 planned jobs and various Hollywood entities doing similar. But it is about adding their voice to the growing list and keeping pressure on the situation.

I'm guessing that sports leagues will get increasingly in on the act too. I can't imagine them scheduling an all-star game or Super Bowl in the offending hick states while these laws are in effect. The 2017 NBA all-star game is already set for North Carolina. That would be a helluva a gesture to cancel that (but I doubt they will at this point.)

I gotta root in any states willing to fight the pc establishment.
But apparently this is about bathroom laws. One thing I don't really feel is needed is bathroom laws. :sparesomecutter:

Man I do notice a lot more gays acting fruity in the casino over the last couple of month. Must be something that happened that unleashed all these guys. :dunno:

I hope that's true and the lost-in-time redneck network will go down again, as they did with the confederate flag issue.

I believe that will happen.

Maybe they can do a variation on the White Lives Matter thing. Non-Transgender Poop Matters. Something like that.

So many smart ideas, those people.

New Jersey woman Katherine Schubert drank Maker's Mark, beat 94-year-old grandma to death

Posted: 04/15/2016 07:46 AM EST

A 39-year-old New Jersey woman Thursday admitted killing her grandmother, acknowledging she beat the frail 94-year-old and left her incapacitated for a weekend before going in for "round two" and again beating her "into submission."

Katherine Schubert, of Brick, N.J., pleaded guilty to manslaughter before Superior Court Judge Wendel E. Daniels in Toms River, N.J., admitting she caused the death in 2014 of Mary Driscoll, her maternal grandmother with whom she lived in Brick.

Schubert, at times crying while answering questions posed by the Ocean County prosecutor's chief trial attorney, said she could not remember much of what happened, but acknowledged actions and inaction that led to her grandmother's death.

Schubert acknowledged beating Driscoll twice, once on a Friday night, May 16, 2014, after she had been drinking, and again on Sunday, May 18, 2014, said Laura Pierro, the prosecutor's chief trial attorney.

Responding to questions posed by defense attorney Alton Kenney, Schubert acknowledged she was giving up her right to pursue a self-defense claim or an intoxication defense. She admitted that she got herself intoxicated, but acknowledged that was no defense for what she did to her grandmother.

Schubert said she began drinking May 16, after having an argument with her mother. She didn't recall what she drank, but Pierro said there were two bottles of liquor found at the scene. One was Maker's Mark bourbon, Pierro said.

Schubert's argument with her mother stemmed from her plans to go out with a friend she made while in a drug rehabilitation program, Pierro said. Schubert said she had only been living with her grandmother and her mother at the home for two weeks, after graduating from the program, Pierro said.
