now is the time i would like to see Walt take out a hit on Skylar... its to the point where i cant stand to see the cunt...whore thinks she knows it all. Walt has plenty of money to bang plenty of hot broads an you know deep down he hates her...help me out stevies.... i want her gone, she is killing it for me.
 
I think what was going on is they were seeing if Walt could do the job on his own without him, and the cool old guy lost his other partner (I don't remember exactly what happened) so maybe seeing if Jesse has worth there too. Looks like he does for both.

Haha, agree with the rating and observation.

Sheer acting brilliance is keeping this show from turning to shit IMO. I'm enjoying it on a pure soap-opera-like level now. When Hank found the Los Pollos Hermanos stationery at the end (which is a completely ridiculous twist... you'd think that Gus would not allow this to happen, and that Gale would know better), I screamed.

Looks like Hank will soon determine that Gus is Heisenberg. Which, in fact, he is.

Operation Brown Brown is a go.

That's what I was mulling over today. Best theory I could come up with was it was all a very deliberate (and rather enlightened) employee motivational technique.

Looks like sometimes in that organization they motivate employees by killing them and other times, they create scenarios where employees can come to feel valuable and empowered.

I was thinking that Gus was possibly grooming Jessie to best utilize his new death wish. Or he could be setting up a hit that would appear to be the unfortunate side effect of a pick up gone bad, to minimize the wrath of Walt.

I also find it quite interesting that Walt chose to rope Hank back in on the case. Was it ego which led him to do this or is he trying to set Gus up? And is it possible that Walt could have somehow planted the stationary?
 
I didn't really get the Jesse thing. I like the empowerment theory, I think. Gus needs and respects Walt's skill and overall attitude towards production, and he knows that killing Jesse would irreversibly end his partnership with Walt.

And I think it was fairly.clear that ego and wine were the only reasons that made Walt act this way with Hank. Walt is all ego and he's been feeling underrecognized all his adult life. He deeply wants to get the credit for the blue meth.
 
Walt did not like someone else getting called a genius based on his brilliance. No sir, he did not like that one bit - and the alcohol liked it even less.

I have a feeling the Jessie thing is a set up for something which we will only discover in the fullness of time. I wonder if there is some surprise in store and we will all say, "Oh!"
 
goddamn walt put that bitch in her place, then folded like a fucking lawnchair like always....guy needs to grow some fucking balls...go get his own place and have a different broad over every night... no real man would put up with a cunt like skylar...i liked the episode, but goddamn, the whore pisses me off every week
