The problem is the show is really over. They finished telling the story that needed to be told awhile ago and now it's mainly busywork. Just drawing it out.

I mean, I'm still watching so I guess I can't complain but artistically, the returns are diminishing.

Sometimes I wish Americans would follow the cue of the Brits. The Brits have a lot of shows that just run for one or two solid seasons and, even though the ratings may say they could drag it out, they just say no, it's done.

All Breaking Bad really has left to do IMO is decide who dies and how, and make it happen.

The end.

Exactly.

They really should've ended it with Season 3. Have Walt die, or go on to successfully transition to a criminal lifestyle, muse some more on the aftermath of his ridiculous decision, and end the show. It had a great premise and it developed into the most tragicomic shit I've ever seen on TV.

They're undoing all that with Season 4, it's about to become cat-and-mouse bullshit la Dexter.

Will Paralyzed Hank connect the dots and bust his brother-in-law? Ooooh, suspense.

Fok off. :bashing:

I didn't get to watch til last night so avoided this thread. I did see some comments from people on FB saying things like "Breaking Bad: Shit just got real!"

And I watched and I'm like...uhh where did it get real? This was the most boring, uneventful episode they had put out to date.

And I really really have loved this show, so that sucks to say.

And in this down season, you best have old man Mike in every episode at least once. To me, he is the most interesting character they have going right now.

The sexiest too

Breaking Bad Writer #1 - So what the fuck do we do next?
Breaking Bad Writer #2 - Fuck if I know... hey, how about spending some time with Marie? We haven't developed that character much.
Breaking Bad Writer #1 - There's an idea. She's a klepto, right?
Breaking Bad Writer #2 - Right. With Hank being an asshole, you know she's bound to relapse. It's, like, totally plausible.
Breaking Bad Writer #1 - Totally! You think it's interesting though? Will the viewers give a shit?
Breaking Bad Writer #2 - *shrug* This script is due yesterday man. Viewers will forget all about it once Walt goes MacGyver on Gus in the finale. Only 9 filler episodes to go.
Breaking Bad Writer #1 - Alright, let's do it. Man we're good.
