I just did a 1-hour out and back test in stiff crosswinds. Held 19.3mph / 31.1km/h.

Ima need the weather to cooperate to gain that extra 1.5mph. 😬

Of course, but that would be cheating. Drafting isn't allowed in competitive time trials and triathlons.

All I need is sub 5mph wind. I thought I punctured a few times during the ride but it was just a sudden gust of wind. Shit sucks and it sends you into the red real quick.

I cleaned it last night in preparation for my sub-3hr 100k attempt. I don't think I'm going to succeed but it should be my fastest 100k either way.

Yeah it's now looking like Monday is going to be quieter, but kiddo and grandma want to go to La Ronde (Six Flags amusement park) on Monday.

Might wait until Wednesday and keep doing lower intensity rides until then, lower my aerobic floor and shit.

I did 80kms at a moderate pace today. Felt good. Stiff headwind throughout the first half, cycling god on the way back.

60% chance of rain/thunderstorms tomorrow now. Fok.

Gonna go for a short test ride today using higher tire pressures. Bike science says that lower pressures are faster over rough pavement (less bouncing around which robs you of power) but I dunno.

105 PSI was bumpy. No good. Not worse though, just less comfortable than my regular 85-90.
