They close it a few weekends every summer for "ActiveTO". It's one of the major arteries that leads to the downtown core otherwise (Lakeshore W). Our condo building is right on it.

I did a 10mi time trial on Zwift yesterday. The "official standard" for a 42yo male is 26:14, I did 23:53 🥳

Had a blast at the track 🥳 I'm going back next weekend to start the "track certification" process. Four 90-min sessions in total to get certified.

They built a world-class velodrome literally in the middle of fokkin nowhere.

Hmmm. The track is made up of small wood planks, so yeah I suppose it needs a controlled environment so it won't warp?

lol, I've been telling y'alls I was still soft around the midsection even at 190. I look fit around 175.

Need to lose the rest of the belly to keep up with the young whippersnappers. I was the second slowest of the fast group, but the fastest old guy.

Dug my bike out this morning,probably had it 10 years and rode it a couple dozen times.Gonna start using it more,maybe riding to the tennis courts and into town when I run errands
