I used a belt this morning to do my deadlift routine (5x5's). The Internets sez I shouldn't, only for 1RM lifts, but it felt real good. Should I not use a belt for regular sets? I feel like 5x5's are heavy enough that a belt is justified. 🤷‍♂️
 
Felt good today. Didn't need to stop. Nice weather is such a big factor in my runs.

I did a so-called Ronnestad workout last night on the bike trainer. It's named after a scientist who figured out that short 30/15 intervals (30 seconds hard, 15 seconds easy) are better at improving performance than longer steady-state intervals (say block of 10 minutes around your threshold power).

I was scared of it when I started but I quickly realized that I would have no trouble completing it.
