I'm still trying to figure out why the fuck this is called the "Big Boys Club" when it's just a bunch of reasonably fit guys getting even more fit.

Then we've got "stevey gets his life together" as just a literal smorgasbord of drugs, alcohol and madness. Ya'll need to learn to title.

While I have you on the line... not to stereotype or anything, but is it fair to assume that you have some Magic: The Gathering knowledge?

If so I'll start a thread. I started playing the online game and I probably want to attempt building an actual deck.

Nah, wish I had gotten into it but never did. Such an OCD collector that I knew going down a never-ending rabbit hole like that would be a disaster. Same with pokemon cards. In hindsight, my now useless hockey card collection could be worth five or six figures had I made better collecting decisions.

Two guys in my Twitch community are on Twitter (Chris - @imrahil327 and Chad - @cidivine) live and breathe MTG and would love to talk decks and strats with you. Tell them DavesDime sent ya.

No no, I'm saying if I had invested in Magic or Pokemon cards instead those collections would be worth gangbusters.

Unlike those cards which age well, not sure today's kids care much about Milan Hejduk, Jonathan Cheechoo, Jose Theodore jersey and auto cards.

Don't get me wrong, I've definitely got some bangers re: the generational types. But for every Joe Sakic or Mike Modano I've got a million Alex Tanguays and Jean Sebastian-Gigueres and a ton of other people no one gives a shit about anymore and I should have sold 20 years ago.

Back in high school I got hit by an Airborne Express van while walking in the crosswalk. Sued them after legal fees got like $6K.

Just SHIPPED IT on hockey card boxes. Good times. Bad investments.

I'm sure my card collection is worth a decent amount but give me a gem mint 10 Pikachu over Cheechoo any day.

hey people are now buying a Gif and calling it NFT, hockey cards not so bad

I would pay $10 for an NFT of archie's oiled up muscular JPG that I lost a few years ago
