Dustin have you ever deliver a newborn? If so, did she take a dump? Dustin, have you ever picked up a really bad GI bleed? How did that smell? Have you ever taken care of someone that was shot or stabbed and do you know the story behind it? Thx dustin, its good getting to know you.

Dustin have you ever deliver a newborn? everytime i have responded to these calls the baby has delivered prior to getting on scene or we have made it to the hospital... If so, did she take a dump? How did that smell? smells dont usually bother me and gi bleeds have never been that bad to me. i have ran some pretty bloody ones NBDHave you ever taken care of someone that was shot or stabbed and do you know the story behind it? a lot of these. one of the coolest was a double DOS. someone was banging a gang bangers ex and he rolled up while they were both outside. according to witnesses on scene, he made the guy get on his knees and put a bullet in the back of his head then shot the girl in the face too...both were dead. i have run a lot of drunk mexican stabbing incidentsThx dustin, its good getting to know you.

what causes gi bleeding?

RJ the most common cause of GI bleeding is ulcers. Especially in the younger crowd. Older people you start looking at different medications, specifically Coumadin and Plavix, in addition to ulcers and even diverticulitis. Diagnostic testing usually involves an EGD and colonoscopy. This lets the GI doc see the cause.

Sometimes people have bleeding hemmorhoids (small amount of bright red blood on TP) and think it's a GI bleed. I've seen blood clots the size of basketballs come out of an ass. Although I can't really recommend anyone try it.
