Alternatively, there is an Ethernet port on your Apple TV. You can simply run an Ethernet cable to a free port on your router (I'm assuming that your router is nearby.) Then you wouldn't need your wi-fi password.

If you right click on your internet icon on your computer, click properties, click security, click the eye or whatever is there, and you should be able to view your pw that way.

And then change your wifi password to something funny and memorable. I hate when I go to someone's house and have to enter "5JIK23SKR2238XF" into my laptop.

Thanks everyone! I got it. Called net company and they gave it to me. It was what I thought it was...I must have typed it incorrectly. It used to be one like the one in Mr. X's post, but I finally changed it.
Anyway, Apple tv was an easy set up after finding the additional port (thanks Cami and Matty) ...it looks sweet! I am serious when I say that anyone who has not seen the West Wing NEEDS to see it. I'm already sad about the last episode and I'm only 7 episodes in to a 22 episode season 1. I'm a sucker for witty banter. It's not at all like I thought it would be.
I think the thread is over now, but I guess it's over when House says it's over.

I'm 2 episodes into The West Wing. The machine-gun dialogue is a bit much but it's good. I have no problem believing that Sorkin wrote the series while high on blow/crack.

Yes... I still have cable, but I have read of people ditching cable for this. You wouldn't be able to see local real time news etc w/o cable if you care about that...
I love this so much I'm going to get a 2nd one for the main TV I think....in the long run much cheaper than On Demand movies.

Most of the time, yes. Quality is excellent, but you'll get the occasional stutter/buffering, and there's a 30 to 45 second delay vs. live, so if you have a scoreboard open on your computer you'll see the score change before seeing the actual goal.
It's kind of shitty for live-watching at home. Better when you're on the go.

You do have to check the blackout rules. I'm a special case as a francophone, out-of-province Habs fan.

I get the Center Ice package and if it's a game on nbc or nbcsn, it was blacked out. They have some exclusive deal with Verizon. All of the Avalanche games would be blacked out I believe also.
