MrsM went with fried shrimp platter and I got the special shepherds pie meal! New place in Sarasota Fin and Tonic.! A few Hazy Sky beers from local Sarasota brewery rated 89 on beer advocate.

Yes unfortunately some establishments don't give you the amount obtained by making it yourself. Right now imagining the benefits of a week's worth of lasagna !

Basic cheeseburger with homemade coleslaw and baked beans.

First time I tried grilling it as a smash burger, You just get the ball of meat and smash it down. Thought it might break apart grilling, but it didn’t.and MrsM thought it was juicier? Someone with more knowledge than me might know more?

and got this.....
Because there's more surface area on a griddle, it allows for more contact between the cooking surface and your food. This makes a griddle ideal for foods like steaks or smash burgers, as it produces better Maillard browning and a crispier crust than you would get from a grill.May 29, 2024
