Had to google chayote squash,have never seen it for sale here.There is zucchini squash in the chowder

It's very popular in some central american countries, it's not easy to find in the States, very small market/distribution, I can find it in South Florida but even then they are very tiny compared to the ones in latam

it's the best vegetable for soups like that one you made, you can add it like you did the zucchini, I'm sure you'd like it Soupbone

My fiancee just made me a soup with some! Love zucchini, but I agree, chayote is far superior for soups 🔥

Going with boneless chicken, green beans, a baked potato and iced tea.

A slice or two of apple pie baked and made by my Mom. The apples were provided by the neighbor across the street that collected them from their orchard. Long story… 😆

Hot out of the pot,was still steaming when I took the picture.I did freeze 3 other crabs,that why there still whole.Usually clean crabs before boiling but I had so many I had to freeze a few and they keep better whole
