Just got back from the doctor.

Results of my ultrasound show I have an enlarged prostate.

Going for PSA test this week.

I dunno, I asked the doc what it meant to have an enlarged prostate and she said the prostate will press on the urethra causing difficulty urinating, or decreased flow. I told her I have not noticed any difference and think I still piss like a racehorse.

The test is precautionary.

After reading up on the symptoms of prostate cancer I'm glad I'm getting checked.

This is only my 2nd family Dr in 20 yrs. Was with my Doctor in Toronto since the 90's.

My current Dr seems to be much more thorough, ordering lots of tests etc. Then again, I wasn't middle aged when I had my last Dr.
