I'm gonna ask a very simple question.

Adjusting rosters and setting conditions is allowing an Xbox or PlayStation to play out a simulated game not essentially a form of modeling? Not saying that it's the exact same but isn't it somewhat a model? Real statistics go into the design, real player characteristics are designed into the players. Is it not a very basic form of a model?
