Skinner out @CASPERWAIT$. Maybe sub in Mandarin Hero. I like him better anyway (he just wasn't in until other scratches).

There's now only gonna be 19 horses - there's not enough Also Eligibles on the grounds to fill the gates. This is wild.
Yeah, I just saw this. I’m going to have to regroup how I’m going to play tomorrow.

Just lost race #3
took the 9. Couldnt decide between the 9 or 11, so of course the 11 comes in to place at 8-1

Let the games begin boys. These are mostly homer/hunch plays with some horses I have ownership exposure to. Also Ray Handal trained my first horse.

Just looking at odds seeing trainers named Cox and Pletcher having 4 and 3 horses in it. Of course not following racing at all know guys like Baffert (suspended or something??) and Lukas guy who most of time train more than one in the Derby. LOL but never heard of them.

Though I guess Boner and Casp know Cox and Pletcher well. If possible give details what these guys have won with regards to TC races?

Pletcher is way more prolific in TC races. Has won a bunch. Seems like he’s always in the money at the Belmont.
Cox not so much, but I’m pretty sure he has one Derby win. I’d need to look that up

Cox won a single derby by DQ in 2021 (the Baffert positive). He's a Kentucky guy who is young and is getting crazy good racing stock from the blue bloods.

Pletcher is probably NY and FLs all time winningest trainer. He's an East coast guy. Really good at getting horses into the Derby but has only won 2x. He's won the Belmont 4x. I think his horse Forte is a legit favorite. The owner Mike Repole (guy who founded and sold vitamin water) is on a MISSION to win the Derby. Guy is dropping millions at the sales to get the right bloodstock to make it happen. When he gets it done (maybe this is it) it will be with Pletcher training.
