Today at 3:37 PM (Eastern) the Oakland A’s will play their final game in Oakland.

The A’s have won the World Series 9 times.

At the conclusion of today’s game at the Oakland Coliseum, Oakland will have lost the Oakland Raiders, the Golden State Warriors and the Oakland A’s.

Tough pill to swallow for longtime Oakland sports fans I would imagine.

The warriors owner bought the team with the intention of moving it to SF. However he would like to buy the A’sand keep them in Oakland.
 
There you have it below scenario for today's results that has come true heading to Nets-Braves DH tomorrow .....

Scenario: Braves lose; Mets and D-backs win
Result: Braves would need one win in Monday’s doubleheader vs. NYM; Mets would need one win in doubleheader; D-backs would need either ATL or NYM to win both games of doubleheader

So if Mets-Braves spilt doubleheader the DBacks are out and Braves 5th seed and Mets 6th.
If either takes both games DBacks are in and either Mets or Braves are out and DBacks either way are 6th seed.

Biggest winner may be SD, it they won today, Mets and Braves don’t play the DH tomorrow.

LOL but the DBacks might as well clean out their lockers. The Mets I believe if were to win game they have to go play the Padres. Lose and they get Brewers. Last team in the NL I would want to play is red hot SD.

The star named quality in that lineup appears to be paying back in spades. Just think if they still had Soto!
