With the White Sox improbable 8th inning comeback win last night, they are now 1-94 when losing after 7 innings.

Today at 3:37 PM (Eastern) the Oakland A’s will play their final game in Oakland.

The A’s have won the World Series 9 times.

At the conclusion of today’s game at the Oakland Coliseum, Oakland will have lost the Oakland Raiders, the Golden State Warriors and the Oakland A’s.

Tough pill to swallow for longtime Oakland sports fans I would imagine.
 
Great TV viewing last few weeks for bases fans with so many playoff possibilities! Especially now in NL with Mets/Atlanta having to play crucial DH on Monday. AL have 3 teams vying for 2 wildcard spots while mathematically NL have 4 for 3 though SD seems certain to get one. Team like ARI waiting to see who they play, if anyone at all. And don't know if true but hearing best of 3 series will still start on Tuesday?

HOT Det and COLD KC tied while COLD Minny 2 games behind.
(84-74) DET having ChiWS left great chance (see below) they get one spot.
(84-74) KC hold TieB over Tigers but go to ATL last 3.
(82-76) MIN have tiebreak over Tigers and Royals but have last 3 games against Orioles.

99.4%. Orioles
91.3% Tigers
84.4% Royals
22.8% Twins

Hot SD almost certainly gets a spot. Complete tossup on the other 2 being NYM, ATL, and ARI.
(87-70) Mets have 2 against Braves with 3 at Brewers though games mean nothing for MIL.
(88-71) DBacks have 3 left at home against Padres.
(86-71) Braves 2 with Mets and weekend 3 against KC

NL WC odds ...
96.9% Padres
77.6% Mets
61.9& Braves
60.5% DBacks

Odds seem to change by the minute?

Even one bye in both leagues up for grabs though odds heavily favor LAD and NYY getting them. Padres 3% chance while Orioles .5%.

What a Monday afternoon getting to see important baseball when such usually down time to watch live sports. Afternoon baseball too to boot.

Side note read (don't know if true) critics stated ATL management couldn't have switch games to another city but chose not to wanting 2 more home games and money from it. Though now with 2nd game schedule 40 minutes after 1st only need one ticket for both. Though for me might do the same as Braves to have home crowd behind them. Yes, gives them less time to prepare for next day's game but IMO more important to first get that opportunity.

I know GL's most rapid bases fan Tron will be watching. Yes Phils having success but the pitch clock did it for me watching bases even many non-Philly games. MrsM and I have watched almost entirely every game this year together! FACT! I'm amazed how into it she has gotten!

Gonna listen to this game on MLB At Bat. I heard that the Coliseum is going to be PACKED
