Checking out NL teams with chance at playoffs coming into the last month with apprioxmately 30 games left.
Presently in NL looks like LAD, MIL, PHI, ARI, ATL, SD being the 6 qualifying with MILW being only sure bet winning division though LAD and PHI should make it at worst as WC. See only 3 teams NYM, CHI, and STL possible could slide in.
Knocking out STL chances, record better than should be and tough Sept with 6 at NYY and MILW while also 6 home against SEA and CLE. Mets not looking good having 3 vs BOS, 7 against PHI and ending season at ATL and MIL for 6.
Thinking Cubs only team with a very slim chance and won't be ousting ATL or ARI. Possibly SD out? SD at 2 SEA 3 LAD 3 ARI and home only 3 HOU. CHI has 16 home in left in Sept. with 3 vs NYY and 6 at LAD and PHI. Though left 7 WASH 3 PITT 3 OAK 3 COL. After miserable start to 2024, Counsell might get them there.
