I'm not doing any fishing. I own a rod but fishing on the Island is really lame.

Asians do a lot of urban fishing but I prefer lakes and boats.

When I talk about fishing, I am talking about floating face-down on an air mattress looking down into a body of water wearing goggles and seeing what fish I see.

That's what I call fishing.

Traditional fishing, I do not care for. When that kind of fishing is taking place, I root for the fish.

was back in Pa a few weekends ago and got some nice bass on the Lake, no walleye though

pulling up a 20LB snapper from 100+ feet deep will wear ya out quick...
amberjack is like a snapper on steroids, mean fighting SOBs
ready to see my son hook that 1st big fish and see if he can pull it up w/out help

I can't stand any seafood. Luckily we always catch and release now. My dad's old rule was if you catch it you clean it and eat it

I catch and release bass , bream unless I feel like cleaning and cooking that day.
no releases with offshore though, at least until limited out.
$1200 a day for a boat, keeping everyone that I can legally
and deckhand cleans fish for ya

Do you ever eat fish, Muddy?

Yes but not much. I like toasted salmon sandwiches with onion and hot sauce, and I like a decent fish and chips at a restaurant. That's about it for me for seafood as a whole.

It's been ages since I had either of those. My eating is focused on other dead animals.
