Yeah the 3 consecutive weeks rule is pretty goofy. You could just follow a pattern of skip two weeks, submit a pick, skip 2 weeks, submit a pick . . .

I don't see how that's a good thing.

I am an anti-split-pot kinda guy. I vote break any ties.

Hey bread, I'll go in with one entry on this deal. PM me with an address to send cash to. I'm also in favor of breaking ties so that the winner (me) gets all the cash back. I submit that all ties be broken with the cummulative win totals being added by the teams used, and the smaller amount of combined wins takes the cash. After that if still tied, then split.

Also I'm not at all clear on the if you miss putting in your pick in time rule. So what if there is a Thursday game, if the game I plan on selecting starts on Sunday, can you splain the ruling too me?

I hate the split cash pot.

If this goes down to week 17, how about the people involved have to pick the total points scored that weekend for all games for the tie breaker.

The thing is you work hard all year and then some cheap way to lose half? How about the guys who end up in tie decide if they want to playoff it? If one person doesn't want to, then split it?

Honestly even though I vote for the split I probably just go for the playoff if I'm in it just cause I'm due in life to win one!

I dont think there will be 2 standing after 17 weeks, but How about picking 3 bowl games or something.

In the league I did last year if you wanted a Sunday game you didn't have to have your pick in on Thursday. There were too many things that happened as far as who is playing or isn't between Thursday night and Sunday morning. It makes a big difference when you have to guess if the star running back for said team is playing or not.

That's my vote anyway.

That would be a dumb way to "select" your picks but I see your point. What about 3 consecutive weeks but only 3 weeks total over the life of the contest (or probably no more than 2)?

I'm confused....Maybe I'm not understanding what you're saying.

The whole point behind this contest is to make a pick every week. To allow missed weeks is to defeat the entire premise behind the contest.

I must be reading you wrong.
