I was in Vegas when the Flyers played the Red Wings for the cup.

In game 2 I bet $3k on Detroit +145 in Philly. Detroit already won game 1 in Philly.

The ticket guy at the imperial palace told me I was nuts because no way could the flyers lose 2 in a row at home.
We'll they did and Detroit swept the series. Philly was the favoritem to win that series.

That $3k wager (+145) was and still is the biggest bet I've ever made. It had to be approved and I had to show the sportsbook I was staying at the IP.
