WTF is wrong with some parents - Ear rings on little boys

My youngest boy started organized hockey yesterday. Did exceptionally well for his first time. Anyways, there were 2 little boys in the dressing room with ear rings. My wife and I were like WTF. One white kid had this huge diamond ear ring. Unfriggin real. These are kids from 4 - 6 years old.

I wasn't sure to feel sorry for these little boys or the parents for allowing this sort of skiddish, trailer park, hood type of shit.

Not sure. I would think that most 6 month old infants would not tolerate the initial pain............. assuming they weren't medicated to begin with.
