Once again you are not a regular follower of the NHL. Anyways...........

How can the NHL justify rejecting this deal but not the Hossa deal or other long deals? A 17-year deal for a 27-year-old Kovalchuk is no good, but a 12-year deal for a (then) 30-year-old Hossa is just fine? And Hossa's contract also has those low salaries in the final years. Oh and don';t forget about the Luongo deal. Rejecting the Ko-V deal just makes the NHL front office (Gary Bettman) look disorganized and more unprofessional than it already is.

Why was this deal not rejected before the Ko-V press conference? I blame Bettman. I thought all deals had to be approved by the NHL office. If this deal was approved and then was rejected, the NHL is in a bigger mess than I thought. This whole process has been an embarrassment.

This was 2 years ago, she could be dead for all i know. She always bought a few rounds of drinks. So her sons money was going to good use, in my opinion.

When Dipietro was drafted I thought he would be an all-star goalie. How Milbury fucked up Luongo and Dipietro and those other draft picks from the late 1990's and early 2000's is beyond belief.

Spezza and Chara for Yashin might be the worse trade over the past 15 years.
