I don't believe the ISIS hostages die by beheading. You'll notice that they never show the actual beheading - they prolly shoot the guys and then use some contraption to chop the heads off.

Beheading a live human is prolly not a fun activity, even to an angry jihadist.

I wondered about that. I didn't know if the videos had been censored. I was under the impression that they actually showed the act, but I have yet to see one...not that I would opt to do that.


In any case I think I would choose both options before listening to Hillary Duff's new song for 8 consecutive hours.
 
Seems like the easiest choice of all time. If we are taking it as a given that death is coming, I would go with quicker/painless, rather than protracted sickness/agony.

Feel like I must be missing something. Are we assuming 48 hours of torture by ISIS? :dunno:

Not necessarily no, ...but we are assuming 48 hours of anxiety about your fate.

Not to suggest you wouldn't have some anxiety when you were lying in insolation in a hospital, but I can't imagine what it would be like to wonder about torture/beheading for the average person for 48 hours.
 
The next guy to be beheaded or whatever they actually do really bothers me - it's bad for all of them but this guy served in the military then on his own started a group to help Syrian refugees because of nothing more then the gratification of helping them. I'm sure they all have stories that make you feel bad but man that's some heroic shit this guy was doing, for that likely outcome.

Sucks.
 
I was telling Cami the other day that if she beheaded me I think my head would roll around on the ground still asking her for things and making fun of her for not being able to quickly crush my head with a good stomp.

I still think that's true.

Ah, maybe that's the piece of the puzzle I was missing. The actual beheading process. I was kind of assuming some sort of CHOP - DONE.

To me, that seems like one of the better ways to go in the grand scheme of things.

However if the process is more of a slow noggin removal by way of an extended series of paper cuts or something like that ---> it gives one pause.
