Start fund raising for 2024 WSOP main event now. I'm in for a piece!

I imagine that the largest tournament(s) have the most opportunity for a +ev player due to the larger relative number of entries from -ev players?
THE MAIN would be crazy! Hopefully I'm internet famous enough to be able to sell off enough action to do it someday (next year would be nice).

And yeah pretty much every weekend during WSOP season they run very rec-friendly tournaments in the $400 to $1500 buy-in range like the Monster Stack, Millionaire Maker, Colossus, etc. Huge turnouts and prizepools. And to your point much better EV than, say, a $5,000 or $10,000 six-max or PLO event that's going to be loaded with pros and definitely -EV (but would still be fun to play in).

The Main is definitely +EV with its amazing structure and the huge number of amateurs playing. Though the rake on it is crazy, and surviving variance for the 3 days it takes to get into the money is no easy feat. But goddamn would it be cool to play in.

As much as The Main is the dream, if given the choice I'd be more inclined to sell a package of like 3-5 tourneys for ~$5000, get a lot more play in multiple tourneys and they could always roll it into a Main buy-in if any of those resulted in a deep run.

They fumbled the payout this year in the Main. You’re not guaranteed a million if you make the final table so they could prop up the prize for first place ($12 million).

2nd place gets HALF of what first place gets. Common.

Threw together a last-minute trip to Las Vegas to play in two live WSOP tournament events this weekend!

I'll be playing in the following two events:

Saturday: $1,500 Mixed NLH / PLO Double Board Bomb Pot

Sunday: $1,500 MONSTER STACK No Limit Hold'em Flight C

The Bomb Pot is crazy and should be super fun. Every eight hands, the game switches between No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha. And on that switch over hand, all players at the table ante up and go eight-ways to a double flop. The rest of the hand plays out with the winner of the top board getting half the pot and the winner of the bottom board getting the other.

The Monster Stack has three day one flights (Fri - Sun) and then takes four more days (Mon - Thu) to play down to a winner. Starts with 50,000 chips, hour-long levels, lots of time for deepstack play.

I'm selling some action if anyone here wants a sweat. The two together is $3,000, so it's 1% = $30, 2% = $60, etc. For those of you that haven't bought action before, if I lose you lose, if I win, you get whatever % of my total winnings that you bought in for. DM me and let me know what % you want if you are interested!

Note: I may late register or skip the Monster Stack on Sunday if I make Day 2 of the Double Board, depending on how long that one ran. If I didn't play it, I'd refund that portion of the %.

Yes!!! DAVEY! Where can we follow along/how can we consume this content? DM sent.
Thanks for the support my friend!

Not sure where I'll post yet, maybe on here, maybe on Twitter. One way or another I'll be updating chip counts on breaks (every two hours) and big hands. Always type the all-in hands out with flop turn and river so you can sweat it as I did live 😂
