If anything it's the other way around.

Potato gets it....

I fart around with 10 bucks here 100 bucks here 50 bucks here, don't keep track, don't shop, point and click, bet blindly just to have action on tv games.....

I know some here take their hobby SUPER SERIOUS

but that is not the common rec gambla

when I was betting 250-350-500 and more. I was super meticulous, and practiced very strict money management

So it's not possible for a guy to feel the pressure and make mistakes because the stakes are increased? It's not possible for that guy to get himself out of his comfort zone and start pressing?

You know there is a huge commonality among many posters here. Debates aren't debatable and the agree to disagree thing doesn't apply because too many only look at everything from a solitary perspective. I tell you that I know what I stated to be true if for no-one other than myself because I have and do experience it and you tell me because of how it applies to what you experience I'm wrong?

I can see how pressure builds as stakes get more significant. And it could cause your play to get worse if you're using a freestyle handicap. Poker would also be a good example of this. However, you should still increase your wagers gradually.
If you have a huge edge, you might as well make significant $.

Wal, I can see where you're coming from, but if Pavy is hitting 90% everyday, then he just needs to up his betting amounts, not change his handicapping style. I don't think you would start picking wrong bets if there was more pressure on you.

Pavy seems to be consistently winning, at a very good percentage so why would one not just increase their betting amounts to win more money? He seems to have soccer down pretty well so why not double your units so you make more? Or is he just taking is easy on the bookies?

Reno, I appreciate that you are capable of seeing that everything is not "by the numbers" or black and white. Not that you agree 100% with me but at least you allow a perspective to be presented without arrogantly imposing your superiority.

Sov, I made the comment in general. I get the impression that Pavy maintains control and wouldn't fit into the example I was giving. By the same time though if he does what he does purely for enjoyment and on a hobby level and he is comfortable at his wager amount then good for him.

Sov, I know you were just commenting to Pavy and were not telling him what to do. I was merely giving a reason for conversational purposes as well.
