The womens game is very different, there are really only two teams : Canada and USA, the rest are years behind these two countries.

Canada and the USA will rout every team they play until they meet each other in the gold medal game.

Reno, seriously - the USA and Canada dominate womens hockey - I'll go as far as saying a USA/Canada final is a lock.

I'd be surprised if Canada and the USA both don't beat China by 15 goals.

Sure, I know little about this. But you'd think other teams are going to get better sooner or later. I could understand China, but Czechoslovakia is one of the first countries to play hockey, they're not content to get blown out forever.

Reno, it would take massive improvement for the other teams to get close to the level of the US & Canadian womens teams.

I know it sounds difficult to believe that well known hockey powerhouse countries womens teams are horrible compared to the US and Canada but its true.

Sweden is the closest competition, China will finish last.

Watching the Canadian women play China is like watching giants vs midgets.

Of course. For Americans 5Dimes looks like the book to bet Olympic hockey with. For non Americans there are many more options.

I'm not playing this game, -160 is too much juice. Reno none of these other teams have closed the gap on USA/Canada so far, what makes you think they will start now?

Canada and the USA have dominated the sport since day one, the Canadian and US womens hockey programs are serious business, for the other countries womens hockey is an afterthought.

Historically these two teams have been vastly superior, it's not even close, so the other womens teams have ALOT of catching up to do. I doubt they have closed the gap.

10 goals is alot, and I need to see a game before I'll play anything, Canada should shut out the Slovaks and scoring 10 shouldn't be that difficult, really.

Like I said before, watching Canada play the Chinese is a joke, the Chinese don't even belong on the ice compared to the Canucks.
