pinny has all ncaaf totals up already. bookmaker usually originates these on wednesday. wtf is going on.

This is just speculation, but here goes. Could Pinny have hired away one of the head linespersons for CRIS or Olympic, and be releasing these numbers early with huge limits because they have more confidence in the numbers they're hanging than they ever had before? Those limits could be artificially large in order to lure more volume there, rather than a response to already increasing volume.

The reason this came to mind is that it reminds me of something I saw while working for the musicians' union, where a mediocre musician would start arriving in limousines to his gigs and wearing elaborate costumes. People suddenly thought that his talent level had jumped a couple notches, when in reality it was just the same ol' mediocre guitarist on stage. It's got plenty of names: "fake it till you make it," or "gotta spend money to make money."

The limits are miniscule on the totals right now. Everything else they are still waiting for cris/greek to post first, so I don't think so. The only other thing they really originate is wnba.
