yeah, they've shown they are willing to do this more. The owner has at least shown the willingness to spend on the draft and amateur free agent signings the last 3-4 years, and they extended McCutch.
I'm just skeptical of their ability to develop the talent to begin with, with all their high draft picks they've really only turned out 2-3 legit all-star caliber player in two decades.
the only have 1 impact batter anywhere near the Majors.
the top level pitching prospects just don't excite me as much as having impact bats.
hopefully the central stays shitty so they can continue to win with pitching only and fielding 4-6 below avg players a game
