Sorry to hear Davey but the positive is 3 steps closer to total herd immunity.
All kidding aside could you kinda do a mental journal in describing how you feel till the end of it. Very INTERESTED to know how it affects you. Hope minor for all of you!
Seems like my bro got it the worst. He's fine, just some pretty heavy coughing fits and his temp got up to 101-102. I think he's feeling better now.
Mine's been manageable. Temp never got over 101, broke fairly early on. Cough is more small throat clears vs heavy chest coughs. Stuffy nose, slightly itchy throat, a bit more tired than usual. More annoying than terrible. Hopefully it stays this mild.
After you're done tell us if the guys trip was worth it. Feel better soon and take it easy after even when you feel recovered.
Barring any significant turn for the worse, I don't think there will be any regrets. I mean it is what it is.
It's got a bit more bite than the flu and we're worried about my mom (who we saw briefly and is immunocompromised) and my brother's baby, but everyone knew the risks. We're all vaccinated and boosted. Current variants aren't as bad as previous ones were. Seems like COVID is just a part of every day life now, gotta live it.
On the bright side, I was almost certainly going to get it playing some poker tournaments in the World Series of Poker next month anyway... now I should have a little immunity bubble, which is nice.
