I wanted to know what is the take from police on headlights. You see I got a car that has two headlights (on each side). A main one and like a secondary smaller one that's pretty weak. Well one of the big ones wont work and expensive to fix.
I mean I can see fine and I'm sure others can see me. But is this technically reason enough for me to get pulled over? If not, will it still attract attention of cops who maybe looking for something to do?

So let me make sure I'm understanding this correctly.....

Each side of your car has two headlights (a small one and a big one).

On one side of the car, the bigger headlight is not functioning.


If this is correct, I would suggest that you get it repaired. If one of the little headlights I would say that you're ok but it could be argued that your vision is compromised and therefore probable cause to make a stop.
