In 2016 when Trump won and similar “the world is going to end” predictions were made, I understood TO A DEGREE the thinking. You had a man that was not a politician with divisive opinions.

4 years of Trump AND COVID and the world didn’t end. In some ways, in many people’s minds, it was better.

Fast forward to the present and the same apocalyptic way of thinking is being screamed from liberal media down to Gen-Z kids that weren’t old enough to sit in the front seat of a car in 2016.

This time around, we as the majority can and should laugh at this nonsense.

The proof is in the pudding, and last I checked from 2016-2020 Trumps policies didn’t kill or eradicate ANY group, nationally or gender.

Simply put, stop your whining. You were wrong 8 years ago and past history suggests you’ll be wrong again.

If you can so liberally compare 2024 Trump to 1939 Hitler, you should compare 2024 Trump to 2015 Trump.

One is apples to apples while the other is apples to Volkswagens

Donald Trump will be the 47th president of the United States. But he won't be the 48th. Trump is prohibited from running for a third term in 2028. The 2028 U.S. Presidential Election will be held on November 7.

That’s 1,460 days from Friday.

No doubt the commercials might start a week from tomorrow. And the speculation over who will be Trump's successor has begun.

Election betting remains illegal in the United States. This year for the first time, legal trading markets were allowed after a judge allowed them to operate despite ongoing opposition by the U.S Commodity Futures Trading Commission. That case will continue after the election.

The most notable of the legal U.S. political trading sites is Kalshi. Like all trading sites. Kalshi offers shares on both sides of an outcome. And the price per share depends on what someone else on the other side is willing to pay. Those outcomes are converted to probability for people to follow on their sites.

Traditional betting odds on the politics in the U.S. and elsewhere are offered by legal sites in Canada and the U.K., and offshore sites.

Those sites post traditional odds on election outcomes in the same way they would handle a money line on a football or basketball game.

I heard there were rumblings that Trump may try to get the "2 term presidency max" revoked. And that there's some possible support from the left. The only reason I can imagine is the left doesn't like their bench. Understandable.

Perhaps an Obama/Trump 2028 battle of the century?

Full disclosure, I do know someone personally that works for Trump's team.

OF COURSE Trump will.

Does anyone with more than 16 brain cells think Trump will step out of the spot light in 3.5 years to get behind JD to promote JD and not HIMSELF?
