Possibly you lower brain is working OT? Seriously if TRUMP wins and Vance looks competent then I could see her as VP candidate. There you go, anyone wanting the old out and new young in, you got it.
I’d assume Vance would run if Trump wins. I also think Gabbard would beat Vance in a primary.

She checks more boxes and shores up the moderate and undecided vote.

Nobody of her caliber has gone from Democrat to independent to Republican.

I love her

I wasn't saying Vance would make a better President than her. Just going by precedent usually the VP of an outgoing Pres got the nomination from his party. Probably Tulsi, DeSantis, Haley, etc etc would enter the primary. And like I said, Vance for me only if he appeared competent as VP.

Just went by history in my opinion. Nixon was Eisenhower's VP and lost to Kennedy in 1960 as Rep nominated presidential choice. Humphrey was Johnson's VP and lost as Dem candidate to Nixon in 1968. Bush was Reagan's VP and ran in 1988 as Rep candidate.

Gore was Clinton's VP and he got Dem nomination losing to Bush in 2000. Bush's VP Cheney but thank God he wasn't the choice. H Clinton got 2016 Dem nomination but if I recall correctly Biden didn't want to run? Though look to turned up as Dem candidate in 2020.

losers

Overall, 29 of the 49 people who have served as vice president since the country’s founding have gone on to formally seek a party’s presidential nomination, either immediately after leaving the vice presidency or in the years that followed. Ten of these 29 vice presidents – about a third – have been elected to the nation’s top political office

Well said going to unignore once election was here to not involve myself too much beforehand, but only 30 minutes to go.

Okay, what's your opinion on my 10 above other than above reply? Add whatever additional differences you see. :hattip:

😱😱😱😱😱

WE BACK LET'S GOOOOOO!

Welcome back to the full GL Experience MrM good luck tomorrow 👍

surAnd my opinion in regards to your post is that you grossly overestimate how much who wins president is going to affect things.

Things will not be nearly as bad as you think if Kamala wins or as good as you think if Trump does.

Everything mostly stays the same.
LOL then why all the doom and gloom talk about TRUMP getting elected if it all doesn't really matter much? :surprised:

Thought you wanted dialogue from me but guess your response to my #1-10 points doesn't give me much specifically. No worries good luck to you too with Kamala winning. Have a good night!:hattip:

Trump doom and gloom is super over-exaggerated. People act like it's a foregone conclusion that Project 2025 will be in full effect if he wins. It probably won't. We'll probably get through the four years like we did the other four he was president.

If he wins I'll shrug and hope for the best. I'm a lot more jaded and a lot less invested than I was in 2016.

The key here though is those "probablies". The man orchestrated an attack on our capital. He says a lot of scary stuff. He isn't getting sharper and more stable with age.

A Kamala presidency might be good, bad, or indifferent. But it won't be particularly dangerous. A Trump presidency will probably be fine too. I'd just prefer to be more confident than probably.

But yeah, I guarantee you that you care about the result of the election a lot more than I do. All of our day to day lives will stay about the same. Big picture stuff is impacted, which is why it matters, but whatever.

I agree.

The one thing that does change which I alluded to in an earlier post is the “air”.

I will say that our relations with other countries does change with whomever is president though
