yup, take the past century, or two, purely evolution and science taking it's course. Sure, a higher power may be found somewhere in there, helping certain things along, ultimately though, it's just life moving forward. Artificial organs, for example, that is science, a creation made by man, not God. Primates learning and doing things humans can - evolution. You simply cannot deny that evolution and science are a thing, they exist.

I remember being approached on a ferry boat in the States by an ancient guy who wanted to know if I was prepared for eternity. He had a number of points he wanted to make and I was pretty gentle with him. He truly was at death's door. At one point, on the subject of evolution, he said, "Apes! Pffft!"

He thought it was beyond ridiculous, the notion that he had any linkage to apes.

I didn't say this to him but he looked quite a bit like an ape to me.
