Never got into it. Didn't really give it a shot though.

Trailer Park Boys --> I got through about 5 episodes. It's okay. I can see a bit of an edgy charm to it but any more than 5 episodes would probably wear out its welcome with me.

I hear there is a Corner Gas movie coming up. There is some thing like, the more $$$ they can get fans to donate for it, the more features they will build into it. There is a word for funding a movie that way. I believe the Veronica Mars movie was like that (except much bigger scale.)

Could probably google it if you want to see what I'm talking about.


(To be clear, I'm not recommending the Corner Gas series to anyone. It was basically watchable but nothing I really want to endorse. I was just continuing the conversation.)

You've probably watched home improvement, fashion and comedy shows that were Canadian made and didn't even know it.

Steven and Chris are syndicated on US tv stations. I know because I've seen them on US stations based in Detroit.

I think there is some Canadian shows that do make it on US border stations. You can get Canadian TV in Ann Arbor (about 25 miles away). I wish Directv showed Canadian TV over the 30 spanish channels offered.

Cool. I like the Trailer Park Boys for it's weirdness. I had suggested Corner Gas because of its universal appeal. It is hard to argue with that.
