Sickmate! We'll be all set for the Super Bowl tomorrow. I've spent all week orchestrating having the house to myself tomorrow, told my family I don't want to see them, David is off to the horse track (God help him...and me), and I just want to kick back in the recliner and chat with you hooligans on my lappy. Anybody else planning to chat their way through the game?

I took him for the first time last week, and now he took a buddy to go down there for both days of weekend racing. I kept him from making any stupid wagers last week and he walked with some cash, I'm interested to see what a losing session does to his enthusiasm. Apparently they're giving away a 42" plasma TV after each race, I think each dollar wagered on the race is worth one "entry" in the drawing. Anyhow, it's kinda cute to watch him go through his degen phase. I actually feel closer to him now that he found a form of gambling that appeals to him. Casinos and sports betting just don't do it for him.
